Ludwig is an Berlin-based industrial designer and product developer with a focus on furniture.
His passion lies in the task of merging esthetic appearance with smart product structure.
The design emphasis of all his projects differs greatly in the respective focus; curiosity for a specific production process, usability, semiotics etc. can be motor for his design process.
During his longtime work for the studio Laeufer & Keichel he was engaged in numerous collaborations with international brands like Kristalia, Zeitraum, Lammhults and more; During his employment as in-house designer for cybex he had been implementing the company’s furniture line. Besides realizing own designs he was working with Marcel Wanders Studio to develop the ‘cybex by Marcel Wanders’ collection.
In his spare time Ludwig is working voluntarily as part of the board of examiners for the apprenticeship as modelmaker.
