Trestle Hito

Core-element of the trestle ‘Hito’ is the cast-iron connector that unites the five oak rods into one continuous line.

The layout of the excavations follows the angles of the legs yet creates an originary independent structure.

The connector can be casted with a two-piece mold and is locked with grub screws.

In a pair of two together with a tabletop, the trestles serve as a desk. As a solitary object it’s a decent and sculptural valet.
